Money orders to the value of the compensation were provided via mail to eligible business customers who no longer hold an active Business Credit Account with Australia Post. In instances where money orders were returned to sender, this money has been transferred to the Victorian Unclaimed Money Register. If you believe you are an eligible former contract customer and did not receive compensation, please search the Victorian Unclaimed Money Register and submit a complete application form to collect any unclaimed money.
Customers who have received a money order, but are yet to claim the remuneration, are still able to do so until 1 October 2025 by taking the money order to any Post Office. After this date the money can be claimed from the Victorian Unclaimed Money Register.
